The River Ganges is glorified in all Vedic Scriptures as supremely pure and auspicious. Accordingly to the Srimad Bhagavata Purana, the water of the Ganges is sacred because it emanates from the Lotus feet of Lord Vishnu.
The water in this bottle is from Sridham Mayapur, the birthplace of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the golden avatar or Krishna who introduced the chanting of the Hare Krsna Maha Mantra to the world. This water has not been treated or filtered so that the full effect of the Ganga will be with you.
A collection of waters from 1088 Sacred Tirthas (hold Places) has been added to this bottle.
