Hermes Trismegistus was a legendary figure of ancient wisdom, whose teachings have influenced spiritual traditions throughout the ages. As a man of knowledge, he was believed to have authored numerous texts on philosophy, astrology, alchemy, and spirituality. One of his most significant contributions is the seven hermetic principles, which are fundamental principles for understanding the workings of the universe and how we can align with its creative power.
Our line of clothing and collectables is inspired by the seven hermetic principles and is designed for spiritual seekers who are interested in enlightenment through yoga, meditation, or self reflection. Each design represents the essence of a specific principle and can serve as a reminder to incorporate these principles into daily life.
The first principle is the Principle of Mentalism, which states that everything is mind and that the universe is mental. This principle teaches us that our thoughts and beliefs create our reality, and that we have the power to change our circumstances by changing our mindset.
The second principle is the Principle of Correspondence, which states that as above, so below; as below, so above. This principle teaches us that there is a correspondence between the physical and spiritual realms and that we can access higher knowledge by studying the patterns and symbols of the universe.
The third principle is the Principle of Vibration, which states that everything is in motion, and nothing is at rest. This principle teaches us that all matter and energy are in a constant state of vibration, and that we can use sound and frequency to tune our bodies and minds to higher states of consciousness.
The fourth principle is the Principle of Polarity, which states that everything has two opposing poles, and that these poles are necessary for the manifestation of any phenomena. This principle teaches us that there is no good or bad, only different degrees of the same thing, and that we can learn to balance our emotions and thoughts by embracing both sides of the polarity.
The fifth principle is the Principle of Rhythm, which states that everything flows in and out, and that there is a time for every cycle of activity. This principle teaches us that we can learn to navigate the ups and downs of life by recognizing the rhythm of nature and aligning ourselves with its cycles.
The sixth principle is the Principle of Cause and Effect, which states that every cause has an effect, and every effect has a cause. This principle teaches us that we are responsible for our actions and that we can create the future we want by taking deliberate steps towards our goals.
The seventh and final principle is the Principle of Gender, which states that everything has masculine and feminine aspects, and that these aspects are necessary for creation and manifestation. This principle teaches us that we can harness the creative power of both masculine and feminine energies to bring our visions into reality.
Our line of clothing and collectables based on the seven hermetic principles compliments and expands our line of incense, worship items, chanting beads, and necklaces from India by providing a visual representation of the principles that underlie these practices. By wearing or using these items, new age spiritual seekers can embody the principles of the hermetic tradition and integrate them into their daily lives.
