Coronavirus Shut Down

Update May 1, 2020

We are still under lockdown.  All international and state borders are closed in India, as are the post offices.

"Thank you to all our customers who have continued to support us throughout this world pandemic! We are under strict lockdown in India and the ladies have not been working since the day lockdown began on March 24th. However, all our online shopping venues have been open even though we are unable to ship; those supporting us knowing their orders will be delayed. Thank-you! Because of your continued support, I am able to continue paying the ladies their weekly wages which I bring to them during our "grocery shopping hours". This is so critical for their wellbeing and it means so much to them! Thank-you thank-you thank-you!! Blessings and be safe."

Update April 3, 2020

On March 24, 2020, Prime Minister Modi put all of India into a 21 day lockdown, the harshest and most extensive COVID-19 lockdown in the world.  As such, we can not expect to be shipping anything out until at least April 15th.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Modi declared a "Jananta Curfew" for all of India.  We were to stay inside our houses from 7 am to 9 pm and at 5pm everybody was to go to their rooftops and balconies and clap/bang pans/ring bells to honor those people on the front lines fighting the Coronavirus.  All 1.4 billon people participant with gratitude and pride!  Here's the view from our rooftop:

 It was a harbinger of things to come....

The next day, (today, March 23rd) much of India was still under lockdown.  Vrindavan is not.  However, on our daily trip to the post office, we were informed that it would remain closed until at least March 31st.  (We all know how fluid these dates can be...). UPDATE:  April 15th tentative end of India lockdown.

You can still get orders from our Amazon shop.  Amazon has stopped receiving non-essential shipments to their fulfillment centers, but we had a pretty good supply of stock in the fulfillment centers before the shutdown.  Please check there for some of our more popular items.
