Made from one recycled, purple and bluish sari, the ladies tear the sari into narrow strips, tie the strips together, then knit the strips into an infinity scarf. After the scarf is knitted, they fringe the loose ends of the strips, giving the scarf a soft, feathery look. This scarf is approximately 68 inches long (circumference) and 3-4 inches wide. soft and warm for the cold winters ahead. Can be wrapped twice or even three times around the neck for a real cozy, snug fit.
The little feathery wisps tend to shed a bit at first, but with wear, there will be less and less shedding of the silk sari threads.
